Gardner House is Hospitality Common’s transitional housing for documented immigrant and refugee families. Located in Framingham, Gardner House addresses the critical needs of immigrant and refugee families by providing a stable, nurturing "hospitality home" environment coupled with comprehensive, wraparound services designed to foster self-sufficiency, economic stability, and successful community integration.
Gardner House is the logical next step in HCI’s continuum of care. Our ESL classes and shared meals helped to remove key barriers to language acquisition and workforce entry; what has been missing is a place for families to sleep safely and plan their futures.
On July 31, 2025, Gardner House welcomed its first family - an Afghan couple with three young children (including their newborn arriving right after move-in). “The house is very good,” father M. told us. “Our children are happy here, and we can finally sleep, eat, and relax.”
